I, as an owner, breeding Persians and exots, pose myself such a problem quite recently. Of, course they exist, if to see from genetic point of view. These colors are included into standard, there is their description, but... Where are they? By all accounts from abroad, they have such animals but for some reason they are more often met in pedigrees of British cats as experimental partners for leading new color into the breed, but not like exhibition stars. It had to spent lots of time to answer the question: "What is the real situation with Lilac and Chocolate in the Persian group?"
The paradox came to light at once: there is enough big number of Points with Chocolate and Lilac masques and practically full absence of equally colored individuals. Probably, the fashion played its role in it. After all, from the genetic point of view Lilac-Point color is more difficult in receiving than, for example, Chocolate Solid (solid-monochromatic, "firm" colour). Now, thanks to fashion‘s jokes, selectionists are forced to word for word take out Chocolate and Lilac either from Solid-carriers CRC (carriers of Color-Point gene) or to work simpliciter with color lines, making copulations Solids (moreover it is desirable of stronger type) with Colors and further interbreeding on the Color parents. Such copulations are made for a long time, but purposeful selection are begun recently in this direction.
Only several breeding nurseries work today in this direction:
This is JUKI in Poland. It is world-famous nursery. But again they have Chocolate and Lilac not like purpose of selection, but like a side effect of Color-Points‘ breeding of modern type.

While the true history of the Rottweiller is a little unclear it is thought that it is an ancient breed whose history stretches back to the Roman Empire. In those times the ancestors of the Rottweiller were used by the Roman Legions to herd and drive their cattle across the Alps. It is probable that early Rottweillers are connected to the Greater Swiss Mountain dog and Entelbuchers which also have Roman connections.
One route travelled by the Romans was thorough Wurttemberg, Germany and on to the small market town of Rottweil which became an important cattle area and was where these dogs were crossed with local sheepdogs to create the ‘Rottweiller Metzgerhund’ or the Rottweil Butcher’s Dog. These Rottweillers were used by Butchers to guard their livestock.
By the end of the 19th century the breed had declined a great deal due to the outlawing of cattle driving in Germany and in 1900 there was only one female Rottweiller in the town of Rottweil. The beginning of the First World War in 1914 saw the return to favour of the breed as there was a great demand for them as police dogs. During this period they proved their great physical and mental abilities.
After this period the Rottweiller breed became popular with dogs owners and they entered the United States in the 1930’s and were accepted in their kennel club in 1935 and into the British kennel club and exhibited at Crufts the following year. In 1966 a separate register was opened for the breed.
The Rottweiller is an intelligent dog but also very dominant, it is a must for any owner to encourage socialisation and provide firm and consistent training at a young age by a calm handler. They grow to become very loyal to their handlers and people they are familiar with and will defend them to the end. The breed is very sensitive to the human voice so this can be used to some advantage when praising the dog.

Puppies 6 to 16 weeks of age are the most susceptible. This is due to the fact that puppies younger than this are usually protected by maternal antibodies they received in the mother’s milk (colostrum). Older dogs have acquired immunity from vaccination or previous exposure and may not show significant clinical illness if they do become infected. Rottweilers, Doberman Pinschers, and English Springer Spaniels seem to be at greater risk for severe disease, but we see this devastating disease an all species of dogs.
CPV infects rapidly dividing cells of the intestine, bone marrow, and lymphatic tissues. The rapidly dividing cells of the intestine reside in valleys of the intestinal mucosal lining known as crypts. These cells then migrate to cover the hills of the mucosa known as villi. The virus is capable of severe enough damage to result in necrosis (cell death) of the intestinal crypt cells and this leaves no cells to cover the villi. The villi essentially are ulcerated, collapse, and digestive function is lost. Tremendous amounts of blood components and fluids are lost across this ulcerated mucosa and toxins and bacteria may be free to pass from the intestinal lumen to the bloodstream.
Rapidly dividing cells are also found in the bone marrow and the virus attacks these resulting in a drop in the dog’s white blood cell count. Both lymphocytes and neutrophils are affected (these are types of white blood cells). Neutrophils are the predominant white blood cell found in circulation and function as part of the rapid first line of defense against infection. CPV infection causes low neutrophil counts by cell injury in the bone marrow and due to depletion of circulating cells responding to the tremendous amount of damage to the intestinal wall. The lower the white blood cell count, the worse the illness and counts less than 3000 mean the dog is not able to defend against bacteria found in the digestive tract and the environment.

ITS easiest to spot a tiger in the summer, when the animals frequent a shrinking selection of water holes. But the weather is punishing. Bandhavgarh in the winter is better: it has one of the highest concentrations of tigers among tiger reserves in India, which means that your chances of a sighting are pretty good, and you don’t have to sweat it out. The park runs jeep safaris, as in most tiger reserves, but you could try an elephant safari (book at the Park office near the gate, $10 per hour for up to 4 people).
To get to Bandhavgarh from Delhi take the Utkal Express train to Umaria (32 km away). You can also drive, or take a bus from Jabalpur, Katni or Satna. Stay at the White Tiger Forest Lodge (07653-65308; $30-$40/double). Or Bandhavgarh Jungle Camp (07653-65317; two-room luxury tent. Palani Hills, Tamil Nadu This part of the Western Ghats is one of the richest biospheres in India; but the big draw of the Palani hill forests around kodaikanal (2,133m) is the flowering of the pretty kurinji flower (Stroilanthes kunthianus), every 7-12 years. It last flowered in 1992, which means you can prepare for the wonderful sight of hillsides covered in delicate purplish-blue flowers. Its advent has been systematically recorded since 1858. Thanks to Cockburn of Kotagiri, who built a record of 100 years. Today, the plant is threatened by tea plantations, roads and exotics like wattle and eucalyptus.The nearest airport is Madurai, 120 km away.

Low carry-forward stocks and lower output this season have made pepper outperform all other spices, with futures market galloping over 15 per cent. Meanwhile, prices in the physical markets witnessed a surge of over 10 per cent last fortnight.
The shortage of pepper in the country, said traders and commodity analysts, will result in a firm scenario for the commodity this season.Unfavourable weather conditions in the initial days of the crop, coupled with aging creepers of pepper being more prone to diseases have led to lower pepper production.
V J Kurien, chairman, Spices Board of India, said, "There is a shortage of pepper in the country with production falling from 80,000 tonnes to 50,000 tonnes over the last decade. Lower stocks and diseases in plants are a cause of concern. This season, the production is likely to be lesser than that of last year." A part of the Ministry of Commerce, the board is the apex body for the export promotion of Indian spices.
Trading sources and commodity experts are estimating production in the range of 42,000 to 45,000 tonnes this season. "The crop is delayed and the current stocks are at historic lows, around 8,000 tonnes. This has made fundamentals of the commodity strong. The arrival gains momentum during January-February. Even your drinking water isn’t safe from do-gooders who may really be out to ruin your health — and all for the "good cause" of your teeth. Fluoridated water is often used in soda pop production (and some bottled waters too.)You need water! Pure water. And there are those who are vehement that you must drink fluoridated water.
Fluoridation advocates are typically dentists, medical organizations, and government health departments. Isn’t it a conflict of interest for dentists to actually want you to be cavity free? Same with medical organizations. They make money when you’re sick. And the government… is there something in the Constitution that makes it their job to keep everyone from getting cavities? Fluoridation advocates typically simply downplay the concerns of fluoridation opponents, and attempt to rebut side-issues rather than addressing the big health concerns.
The health concerns about fluoridation are very serious.
A report from the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) indicated that fluoride levels in drinking water may be too high. The report "found persuasive evidence that fluoride in water increases bone fractures as well as stiffness in the joints of the elderly, and that it also may be related to Alzheimer’s disease, marginally reduce IQ in children and alter the endocrine and hormonal levels that control most of the functions of the human body with unknown side effects. The chemical may even cause bone cance.

That’s the local farmers market. In the Columbia River Gorge, farmers markets have become particularly popular as folks opt for fresh, locally grown, often organic, produce.The benefits are starting to be discovered (or should I say re-discovered), since not as much fuel is used to transport local produce, each farm usually grows diverse foods (it’s not mono-agriculture), the produce has usually been allowed to ripen naturally on the vine or tree so that its nutritional qualities are higher than supermarket types that were picked green. And you can get to know the people who actually produce your food — something that could be a mutually beneficial thing should times get very hard.
You can talk with them and discuss the benefits of organic growing practices. Sometimes farmers even have other products they can sell you if you ask for them (like meat, milk, eggs, flowers).The popularity of CSA boxes has increased, too. A CSA box is like a subscription — you get a box of fresh, locally grown produce full of all kinds of goodies, delivered to you on a regular basis. It’s actually kind of fun because sometimes you don’t know what you’re going to get in your box and have to discover how to cook it and eat it.

Lately, there’s been a lot of fast-food "bashing" by the mainstream media and the "diet dictocrats". But the real problem isn’t in how "fast" a food is, or whether it’s eaten "on the go". An APPLE could be considered junk food if that was the definition! Ridiculous! The real questions we should be asking are, "What is the food prepared with?", and "How many flavor enhancers and preservatives are used to keep you addicted to the ‘store-bought taste’ and make the food ‘convenient’ for a long time?" If your life is so fast-paced you can’t stop to find out what you’re eating and sit down together for relaxed family meals, you need to reevaluate your priorities, or get ready for some sickness in your future.

But, wrong attitudes, lack of will to demand truth, and inability to change our ways may be the reasons for our gradual decline - nationwide. You’d think with all the knowledge and technology we have today, Americans’ life-spans would be some of the longest in the world — but that’s not the case.

For those of you who have read my articles over the years, you know that I grew up on soy milk and soy meat analogs and now suffer terrible headaches with even the smallest amount of soy. When I first came to realize that soy was my nemisis, I had found my first documentation of problems with soy on the Internet. Since then many health newsletters have sounded the alarm about soy, and a comprehensive well-written book has been published, The Whole Soy Story, by Kaayla T. Daniel. In preparing for this article, I looked for updated information on the Internet, and boy, did I find it! It’s worth your efforts to learn why soy is losing its acceptance in the world of naturopathic doctors and health advocates. At some sites you’ll learn about soy’s links to cancer, hormonal imbalances, thyroid disorders, allergies, estrogenic effects on boys causing reproductive problems and effeminate characteristics, and girls beginning puberty at age 5 or younger. Remember, soy is regularly added to the meat in school lunch programs to not only "extend" the meat, but reduce the calories and cholesterol in school lunches to meet government requirements.

I had written an article several years ago on fats and oils which we had been reprinting in our Extra Info Book. But in this 2008-2009 edition I removed the article because it was a bit outdated and so many more new oils have become readily available. There are many books which discuss fats and oils (Know Your Fats, by Mary Enig is an example of a good one) and the Internet has lots of information on different oils. So, I don’t feel it’s necessary to describe and tell about each and every oil. But, here are a few tidbits about fats and oils you may want to consider and research further.
You need fat in your diet. A fat-free or nearly fat-free diet is not balanced or healthy. I have two personal stories to tell you about. I knew a very tall, thin, healthy young man who married a somewhat misguided health-enthusiast and she immediately put him on a fat-free diet. Soon his skin became incredibly dry, flaking off like dandruff everywhere. She realized the dietary mistake she had made, added fat back into his diet, and his skin returned to being healthy.
I also knew a young mother who wanted to lose weight quickly and went on a fat-free, low-calorie diet, which also happened to be devoid of everything nutritious because it basically consisted of Saltine crackers and water!! Yes, on this near-starvation diet she lost weight alright — and lost much of her beautiful blonde hair (what was left was thin and brittle) and lost her brain power too. Unable to think properly her life went downhill quickly. The brain is made out of fat and particularly thrives on Omega 3 fats. (This is why certain fats are called EFAs - Essential Fatty Acids.)

DELIVERING A PRESENTATION
A well planned, and well-structured presentation can almost be ineffective because of bad presentation delivery. The delivery phase can make or ruin a presentation. There are four key factors in the successful delivery of a presentation.Timing is of crucial importance. Do not ramble or talk needlessly. Some people simply freeze, and some can not sit down when they got on their feet to talk.
Try to stick to prepared speech. Some questions during the presentation might be difficult to answer, and it is best to dispose of them politely, but quickly. If you return to your prepared speech, you are in control. If you become diverted to a detailed answer, the time may just slip away and you may suddenly find the audience looking at the clock. The amount of time required for a given presentation should be determined in advance. As a general guide, one slide needs 1 - 1.5 minutes. So, if your presentation consists of 50 slides and you allowed 30 minutes only, the delivery has to be rushed very much and you may not succeed in conveying your message. Judge your timing by practice.
The level of audience's attention during a presentation varies considerably. In general, the attention is high at the beginning of the presentation, but tends to fall after 10 minutes. Therefore, it is important to highlight or repeat key ideas during a long (more than 20 minutes) presentation. The speaker must be conscious of the attention span concept, so that the presentation can be carefully managed. Something like, "Let me summarize what I just said..." will boost the level of attention. It is also important not to simply fade away at the end of the presentation. Never leave the audience at a low level of attention. The speaker should use some clue to alert the audience to the fact that the end is coming, and that there is some summary or highlight to be expected. Try various ways to end the talk, instead of simply saying "This is the end of my presentation, thank you".

I am convinced we should think much more in terms of personality instead of identity. This raises eyebrows, I know. And I want to stay away from any ‘religious’ or hairsplitting debate about words. I just give you my thoughts why I think ‘personality’ fits the current timeframe much better. Decide for yourself.
In marketing, communication and design, we have grown used to ‘identity’ as the accepted word. And it sounds like the right term. But is it? Did we ever give it a clear thought? In language and in society, ‘identity’ has a quite different meaning than most of us intend to say when we professionally use the word. Identity is about personal facts: where you live, what your name is etc. Identity is also about characteristics you share with others. You are, for instance, female, catholic, and a republican.
So it is important to conclude that identity does not refer to your individual personality or uniqueness. On the contrary: it points to facts that make you part of a group.
There is another way to illustrate that we use the word identity incorrectly. Populist right wing politicians deliberately confuse ‘identity’ with ‘personality’. The vision that these politicians express (like Wilders in Holland, Le Pen in France, De Winter in Belgium) can be summarized as: ‘if your identity is Muslim; your individual personality is criminal and dangerous’. So they deliberately confuse identity with personality.
With very good intentions, we do exactly the same. I think we should be precise. To my conviction, personality is a much better word. Just like people, brands have a personality. And it is this personality that counts. Was Tony Blair so successful because of his identity or because of his personality? Did you fall in love with your partner because of her (his) identity or because of her personality? Identity refers more to background, to roots. Personality is the decisive factor, the factor that makes the difference.

Companies are also faced with a complex media landscape (see 1 and 2) that they need to navigate in order to reach the consumer. Together this creates fragmentation. The basic cause of fragmentation is that the level of complexity in marketing a brand exceeds the span-of-control in a company.
Governing a brand therefore is a difficult and complex affair. Besides, in many organizations, much of the mentality is based on traditional thinking. When it comes to branding, there still is much one-sided emphasis on advertising and marcom. Review boards or Decision Making Units, for instance, are often completely focused on marcom. If you take a close look at brand tracking research, you see that many research models actually do not offer brand tracking, only advertising tracking. The crucial, dominant visual side of all branding efforts is simply overlooked, or at least not sufficiently top-of-mind.
This is partly due to the fact that marketers and p&l responsible professionals have difficulty with terms like design or design managment. Because it creates the feeling that design as such is the main focus. It sounds more like design is a force on its own, than a contribution to the common cause: the success of the brand. That is also why I attach great importance to the wording Visual Branding. (and respectively visual brandmanagement). Because it expresses exactly what design can do: build strong, successful, effectively communicating brands.

Here I was, wondering whatever happened to the energetic idealism of the Vietnam days, when young people hoped and dreamt and sang of a better world, when all of a sudden I discovered that same spirit of youthful optimism alive and well where I least expected it - embedded on my MySpace page!
As I've watched the years tick by and seen contemporary youth culture give birth to absolutely nothing of an inspirational nature, I'd just come to assume (along with everybody else my age) that today's young people are simply hopeless - lazy and self-obsessed, too busy with their ipods and too bored with their studies, full of themselves and empty of ideals, selfish, garish, insensitive, outspoken, overstimulated and undermotivated, full of potential but with nowhere to direct it, But I was wrong, and the evidence is all there, indelibly etched into virtual space.
Even my teenage daughter has left a comment: 'loving your pimped out myspace dad...way cool..' (OK, that's not quite as idealistic, but I couldn't leave it out) .
At any rate, there's another guy on my page who is giving out virtual hugs! There's a young Islamic girl there, trying to make herself understood to her non-Islamic peers. There's dozens of young Christian people filling my page with icons and images and messages of peace and goodwill, and yes it's all a bit glib and a bit syrupy and very overly optimistic, but isn't that just what we need in this world at the moment - an unpolluted spirit of hope? Indeed, when the Lord Jesus told us that we all needed to become like little children, isn't that what He had in mind?
I scroll the images of my 'friends' to the centre of my screen and what I see, quite frankly, is an image of the Kingdom of God!
I see a great swell of smiling faces - male and female, young and old, black and whilte, some hip and beautiful, some shy and still beautiful. I see a modest Islamic girl in her hijab. I see a tough-looking African-American guy in his army helmet. There's an orthodox Jew there reading his Scriptures, and an orphanage full of children waving to me from Uganda. Through the magic of the Internet, all these characters are sharing smiles and messages of goodwill as they mingle happily alongside eachother.
Of course, it's not like that in the ,'real world, and outside of MySpace, these people aren't really 'friends'. Even so, the image I see beckoning to me from cyberspace is an image of what I believe the world will one day become, when that great and glorious day dawns, 'when the earth shall be as full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea'.

How many other strangers would they trust to hold their savings, and return the money and additional funds back to them at any point in time? What makes banks safe, and how do we know they are?

Banks offer a variety of options to their customers, many of them an evolution of the traditional checking and savings account operation. While a checking account is still the most familiar and most common banking feature, there are now a variety of checking account choices - some, known as negotiable order of withdrawal (NOW) accounts, actually pay interest on the balance. Besides the traditional savings account, banks also now offer loans, certificates of deposit, and money market accounts. Some offer IRAs and education savings accounts.
With a traditional savings account, you are able to deposit and withdraw virtually at will, with no minimum deposit or balance required. For this you earn a small interest - currently at an all time low range of .6 - 2 percent.

This means that the maximum range of the wireless card is 120 meters -- sure if everything was perfect. And by the way, one meter is equal to about 39 inches or 3 feet. However, in the real world where nothing is ever perfect interference caused by thick walls, other power sources and the list goes on could reduce this number by as much as 90% - so just be aware of this.And without enough range, your wireless network is no longer wireless and therefore - worthless. It serves no purpose to go wireless if you have to keep your computer next to the wireless port in order for it to work or if you have multiple computers to keep them all in the same room to get them to connect to each other.As a rule of thumb, unless your walls are made of drywall or wood, it's best to buy about four times the strength you think you'll need. I bought a title called The secrets of our success by Angela Adair-Hoy and M.j Rose on cd-rom, and waited with anticipation for its arrival. I read the disc on my pc and finished it in one sitting. I knew then that I wanted my works translated into e-Book format too, but how? A little more research was definitely in order.
When I started my new project, I thought e-Books were a new idea, and I suppose they are new, relatively speaking that is, but imagine my surprise when I found publishers galore already supplying the market with titles. How had I missed such a great idea? The only excuse I can come up with on such short notice is lack of time. Anyway, I read everything I could get my hands on, a book by Wayne perkins helped me tremendously, and armed with the knowledge I needed, I built Ebook Heaven and converted my works into a digital format.
Html seemed easiest to begin, but I must admit to being surprised when people began asking for other versions. Adobe's pdf was the most requested format, and so, you can now purchase my books in pdf as well as html. Hanheld readers are popular in America, the UK is lagging behind in this area, but my books are available for your Palm.

Just the other day, I was riding in my car with my friend Suzanne. We drove by an old barn that was caving in upon itself.At some point, this barn stood upright. It was strong and enclosed many vehicles and animals for years. As with people, this barn aged over time. What once was a structure capable of containing many experiences of life, now, became a broken reflection of moments filled with life suspended in time.You and I are a structural mind/body system that holds experiences within us just like this barn.
As we recall these memories, these past experiences move our awareness toward an expression of experience where stillness allows us to re-live soulful memories filled with life and vitality. These inner visions, feelings, and experiences are our soul's way of speaking to us.In silent reflection, our attention moves into expressions of living that are eternal. It is the part of us that is aware of our awareness. The part of us aware of our awareness and not identifying with the need to compete, become successful, or any other manifestations of the material world.Our soul is the identification with what lies behind all appearances of separateness. This part of us needs no eyes to see, no ears to hear, no hands to touch, no tounge to taste, and no nose to smell. Our soul is completely free of any expression of our world. It is the part of you constantly speaking, analyzing, and judging. This part of you begins to plan your day, organize, and worry. It is the part of you that drives you out of silent witnessing all the events taking place around you. This part of you will get you out of bed in the morning.At this point, learn to integrate the two consciously. They are going on anyway.
