XAVIER INSTITUTE OF EDUCATION :-


PGPCM is one of the unique courses offered by XIME to develop committed and competent techno manager with the potential to manage construction business / projects at home and abroad. With four batches that have passed out successfully, admissions for the fifth batch is now open. This course is now offered with AICTE approval.


The programme duration is of 12 months, which is divided into four terms of 11 weeks each. The 1st, 2nd and 4th terms are for classroom sessions and construction site visits aimed at learning and acquiring necessary knowledge, skills and perspective to enable the students to function as a competent techno- manager. The student will spend his third term in an internship programme with one of the leading project management firms or construction companies.

The Institute was founded by a group of well-known educationists, who had made significant contributions in the fields of management and professional education in the country.The President of XIME society is Prof.J.Philip, Founder Director of XIME and Former Director of Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, Former Dean of XLRI, Jamshedpur and the Founder President of the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS). In September 1998, the Association of Indian Management Schools had conferred on him the prestigious Ravi J Mathai National Fellow Award in Management for his outstanding life-time contribution to the cause of management education in India.
